A Food Package That Preserves the Wrapping-Paper Look | A Single-Item Box for Koma Yuzu Makizuke

We designed a single-item box for Genpouan's Koma Yuzu Makizuke, a specialty from Hidaka, Saitama.

Keeping the look of the wrapping paper

There are no fold lines across the side panels. This lets the box retain the impression of the wrapping paper previously used around the product.

We carried over the existing wrapping-paper pattern and adjusted it to the faces of the box.

Product dimensions and packing workflow

The structure was fitted to the product dimensions with the packing operation in mind. We were relieved to hear that the staff also responded favorably to it.

The boxes were delivered folded flat and could be erected where they were packed.
